We spend lots of time with our children outdoors especially in the summer. I have recently written an article for eHow on setting up an outdoor environment that is interesting and exciting for your children. My three children 3, 5, and 8 years old all enjoy these activities.
Hands On Learning and Story Time
After reading my eHow article on Outdoor Play Areas my friend shared with me that he has an outdoor Play Doh area for his child. It helps cut down on the mess inside of the house. I thought this was a GREAT suggestion as Play Doh is so important for child development but many parents have an aversion to the mess it creates!
My family also love the outdoors, that we spend most of our free times outside playing and just to bond with each other. My kids especially love to go and explore different places outside of home. They love it. By the way, thanks for the link. :-0
